Send Money using Zelle
In May 2015 Frost Bank started development of the ‘Send Money’ feature - a way for customers to send money to friends and family using nothing more than a mobile number or email address. This is common practice for most people today, but at the time it was still in adoption.

This undertaking was a 16+ month engagement for my Payments Team - this team included a Product Owner, Scrum Master, Developers, and QA specialists. Demos of our work were conducted every two weeks as part of our Agile methodology.

The actual working flow of sending money, registering to receive funds, setting up contacts, viewing past transactions, as well as all the error handling and potential experience of system outages, had to be designed from scratch. I was the point person directly responsible for designing the UX experience and UI esthetics for this new offering for Frost Customers.
